Peptide Therapeutics and their Typical Roadblocks in Drug Development

Peptide therapeutics have immense potential for precision medicine, yet their development from lab bench to bedside faces multiple challenges. The typical roadblocks include their low stability, cellular delivery, and rapid elimination. Our group addresses these challenges through strategic design at the early discovery phase. We engineer peptides for enhanced stability, targeted delivery, and reduced elimination and pave the way for the development of next-generation peptide therapeutics with increased efficacy and safety profiles.
